A beautiful smile is an important part of making a great first impression; having attractive, white, and healthy teeth can give you the confidence you need. Any teeth in your smile that are broken, stained, misaligned teeth, or unevenly spaced, can be transformed with either Lumineers® or Veneers.
What do Lumineers® and Veneers do?
Both made from tooth-colored and natural looking material, Lumineers® and Veneers are small prosthetics that adhere to your teeth, hiding your broken, stained, or crooked smiles behind their custom formed design and bright white shade. Both Lumineers® and veneers can completely transform your smile, giving you the confidence that you’ve been looking for.
How are they Similar?
Both prosthetics can be adhered to your teeth with a minimally invasive and comfortable procedure that takes no more than two visits and can be done right here in our Spring Valley office. In the first phase, our gentle and knowledgeable team will examine the damage to your teeth and make choices about the application of the Lumineers® or veneers. (You’ll need X-rays and a thorough exam for Lumineers®. For veneers, we’ll take a mold of your mouth.) During the second visit, we will apply your Lumineers® or veneers. After the application of either prosthetic, you’ll notice a striking improvement in overall appearance of your smile – even if only a few veneers were used in treatment.
How are they Different?
Lumineers® are made of thinner porcelain than veneers and do not require teeth to be altered before they are applied. Veneers are than Lumineers® and with regular care and checkups, they can last decades. Additionally, Lumineers® can be quickly and easily removed if needed so they won’t get in the way of future dental work. Veneers, on the other hand, are permanent, a fact that many see as an advantage because it means a long-lasting beautiful smile.
Both Lumineers® and veneers can help you gain confidence and look your best with a teeth that appear whole, healthy, and balanced. If your teeth don’t give you anything to smile about, visit our office soon to learn more about how two visits can transform the way your smile looks and feels.
