A straight smile is not just aesthetically pleasing, but is also great for functional health. However, if you have a problem with bite alignment or crowded teeth, there are a variety of treatment options for you at any age. At Eiad Haddad, DDS, Inc. we treat patients for their orthodontic needs with
Invisalign® and traditional braces.
Benefits of Invisalign®
Convenience, comfort, and effective treatment are important when it comes to your smile. With clear aligning trays from Invisialign®, patients are able to wear their treatments without inconvenience. Invisalign® is step by step process using patented technology to map out the treatment of your smile. Every two weeks you will receive a new removable tray.
Invisalign® also:
- Corrects bite
- Treats crowding
- Closes spaces
- Straightens teeth after traditional braces relapse
- Corrects crowding resulting from emerged wisdom teeth
Invisalign® does not affect your everyday life or your diet as intrusively as traditional braces. These trays are easy to clean, and it is advised to remove them when you eat, but they must be worn 22 hours a day to see effective results. Invisalign® is great for a variety of patients, but is most effective for adults who can maintain compliance to receive optimal results
Traditional Braces
At our Spring Valley dental practice, we offer metal braces that are both traditional and tooth-colored to adjust bite and straighten teeth. Traditional orthodontics allow for a more predictable treatment for severe cases of jaw misalignment or crowding. This treatment is typically completed in two phases and advisable for younger patients to treat future jaw or teeth alignment problems:
Phase 1 involves assessing teeth and jaw position, as well as guiding the growth of your child’s jaw to accommodate emerging teeth. This part of treatment also involves helping emerging permanent teeth properly develop, and monitoring jaw and bite alignment to facilitate optimal care.
Phase 2 is the implementation of traditional braces where permanent teeth are moved into their final positions.
Traditional braces at our Spring Valley dental practice can be done with tooth colored materials or with regular metal braces. Treating for misalignment and crooked teeth in severe cases are best done with traditional orthodontics to ensure an efficient treatment process with lasting results.
